Portrait of Samuel Reynardson as a youth in a feigned oval. Period carved gilt frame.
Provenance: The collection of the Holywell Hall Estate, near Stamford, Lincs. This was originally the seat of the Reynardson family. Enoch Seeman was born in Danzig but trained as a young man in London. He became highly successful and in 1717 painted King George I.
